Getting There: Centrally located in Brisbane’s Central Business District, Queen Street Mall is easy to access by train (Central Station), bus or CityCat ferry. Car parking is also available at nearby structures.

2. Moreton Island - A Natural Wonderland

Just a short ferry ride from the city, Moreton Island is a paradise for nature enthusiasts and thrill seekers. Explore pristine beaches, snorkel around the famous Tangalooma Wrecks, or sandboard down dramatic dunes. Dolphins visit the shores daily offering magical wildlife encounters. It’s an escape where stress fades and adventure begins. 

Getting There: Ferries to Moreton Island depart from Holt Street Wharf in Pinkenba; the scenic ride takes about 75 minutes. Book 4WD vehicle permits in advance if you want to drive on the island. 

Best Time to Visit: September to November or March to May for pleasant weather and fewer crowds. Dolphin feeding and whale watching are also available during these times.

3. New Farm Park - Riverside Tranquility

Nestled on the banks of the Brisbane River, New Farm Park is a local favourite for its sprawling lawns, ancient fig trees, and seasonal flower gardens.
